Thank you for dropping into my website. I hope you enjoy looking through the pages as much as I’ve enjoyed putting them together.

My love of drawing and painting started early (see photo) and I continued to study art after I left school. That eventually led to a career in landscape architecture for many years. I have now returned to my first love and I’m lucky enough to be working as an artist full time.

In my portfolio, you will see that I like to work in a few different styles and mediums, exploring and being inspired by a range of techniques and materials. My recent favourites have been painting with soft pastels and drawing in biro but pencil, acrylic paint, ink and graphic pens also feature in my artwork. Sometimes using lots of colour feels right, other times a limited palette or even just graphite pencil – it just depends on what and how I’m drawing or the nature of the commission… but I enjoy the variety – I hope you do too.
